Well guys, I just wanna say that.. 2011 is coming to an end and it has been a wonderful year for me (most of my years are wonderful anyway so let's just say that this is ANOTHER wonderful year). Here are some of the things that I loved about this year.
1. O level results.
Yeah, it wasn't remarkable but it was a great improvement, and it was all from last minute studying. I KEEP TELLING PEOPLE THAT I'M SMART BUT THEY WON'T BUY IT.
2. Getting my first pay.
It was a little of a hassle when it comes to the receiving but IT'S MY FIRST PAY. Up top, broz. And yup, I spent it all!!!!! Ok I do regret now since I realized how important money actually is.
I think I actually truly learnt the value of money.
3. My birthday.
The first birthday which I celebrated with my bf and my best friends. It's the first time I ever had my boyfriend ever met up and have fun together with my best friends. Its a really nice and warm feeling.
But let's face it,
every birthday of mine is awesome anyway.
4. Enrolling in a polytechnic.
I am certained that a poly was not a wrong choice, because of all these wonderful friends (but nothing beats secondary school, we all know that).
Poly made me realized that I'm closer to to the working society than I actualy think I am. And it makes me panicky when I think about my life.
I'm 17 now, and I plan to get married before 27. I have 10 years to finish my studies, settle down in my job, work my way up to the top so I can have more money, save money for my wedding and shitz, save money for a house and then get married and share the burden of raising kids with my husband.
I never knew how important the question "what you wanna be when you grow up" was. It prepares you for your future and pushes you to plan your life. Soon, the question will become "what do you wanna be later in life" or "what did you wanna be when you were younger". So don't let your youth slip by! Chase your dreams!
5. My boy's birthday.
It was the first time I put in so much effort for someone's birthday. I scrimp and save months before the day, I plan and cancel and plan and cancel and plan again (mind you, his birthday is on National Day, it's tough ok!), scouted for his presents, and even last minute-ly tried to surprise him with his friends.
I AM GOING TO SAY THIS AGAIN, but I have NEVER gone this far for anyone. It's not me to do all these, but I did..... THAT BOY'S MY CHARMER. *winks*
6. Shienkai's Chalet
This is one of the best chalets I have had. It's just like those normal ones but with lesser people (just all the closest friends), and a lot more fun.
It was a great experience, and for the first time in my life, I CYCLED FROM PASIR RIS TO CHANGI VILLAGE WHAAADDDDAP PEEPS. 14KM!!!!! The most exercise I've had in a year.
Sadly, we didn't take many pictures because DSLR-girl (Vivian, HAHAHA) was in Perth.
7. Class Chalet
The day before the BBQ, Ming Hwei and Hann Shen crashed at my place. It was nice to finally catch up with them! ONE WHOLE YEAR of not seeing each other when the last year we saw each other practically everyday. Good times man, it's like there's no difference when we finally caught up. Like this gap wasn't even there, like how we always were.
CAN I JUST SAY.... ME AND MH DID A MASK FOR HANNSHEN HAHAHAHAHA best thing ever.
Then we went for class chalet at Aloha Loyang. (The bungalow style chalet, not those lousy squeezy kind) IT'S A VERY NICE PLACE!! But the larger the house the further we are from each other so it wasn't very good for bonding and stuff.... but whatever as long as there's Hannshen, Minghwei, Vivian, Phoebe and Jaron.

It was quite ok, but we failed at staying up cause we were quite tired, and didn't manage to take the first bus home.
8. I cut my hair.
Ok craziest shit I've done to myself this year. EVERYONE KNOWS I LOVE MY HAIR SO MUCH, but yeah, I cut it in the end, just to try something different.

And yes, I do miss my long hair terribly. Not that I'm ugly now (psh, duh), just that I miss my hair. YOU WILL NEVER UNDERSTAND THIS PAIN. NEVER. NEVER. Ok, exaggerate onlehhhhh.
9. First time going to Henderson's Wave Bridge!
This was with my impromtu girl, Vivian! We've got to be the most last minute people on the face of this Earth. I think we were actually shopping at Orchard when suddenly we decided to go to the Wave Bridge.

Oh and if you're wondering why is Vivian's hair so short, she actually had it shaved off for Hair For Hope. WTF BRAVE SOUL. Ok, I will shut up about how much I miss my long hair now.
10. USS with my boy! (My favourite part of 2011!!!!!)

LIKE SERIOUSLY, WHO DOESN'T LOVE A CHUBBY WOBBLY KUNGFU-FIGHTING PANDA?!!!!! You need some mental assistance if you find it hard to love such oozing adorable-ness.
The rides were freaking awesome. I LOVE HUMAN AND CYLON. The Mummy ride was awesome too, but I didn't like the fact that it's in the dark. I'M NOT SCARED OF THE DARK. But obviously, no one embraces the darkness, right? Anyone who hasn't been there, please do. I'm planning to go back there in March. I CANNOT WAIT. Must. Try. Transformer. Ride.
Oh, and if you're every there, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT give Shrek's 4D movie a miss. It's good, I tell you. Not like those crappy 3D movies you see at the cinema.
And of course, there were a few things that were once in a lifetime...

11/11/11, 11.11!!!!!!
THIS ONLY HAPPENS ONCE IN A HUNDRED YEARS. Unless I can live to 2111, I'll never see this time and date again! Ok, yes it's just a number, I don't really believe in the wishing to 11.11 whole thing, BUT.. what makes it special is that we are just so lucky to be able to see this date!
And also, I caught my very first
LUNAR ECLIPSE (happens once in a long long time too ok). I ITALIC '
LUNAR' just in case someone goes all anal on me about giving false information.
Well, that basically summed up my 2011. I just wanna say that.......
